Police charge man with murder after woman’s body found in Mississauga

Peel regional police have charged a man with murder after a woman was found dead outside of a commercial building in Mississauga on Wednesday.
Investigators say the victim was discovered on Mavis Road near Hillcrest Avenue shortly before noon.
She was declared dead at the scene and had obvious signs of trauma.
On Thursday, police arrested Yinglin Li, 27, of Mississauga. He’s facing a single count of first-degree murder.
Police say the victim has been identified, but her name isn’t being released until her family is notified.
“This is believed to be an isolated incident and there are no additional suspects being sought at this time,” police said in a release.
