Police have identified a 30-year-old man as the city’s latest homicide victim.
Joshua Olson of Toronto was found shot to death in the early morning hours in North York on Saturday.
Police say they were called to the intersection of Keele Street and Flamborough Drive around 1:15 a.m following reports of gunshots.
When they arrived they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds outside an establishment. Despite life-saving efforts Olson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have yet to release any suspect information.
“Investigators would like to speak to any witnesses that were in the area at the time, as well as drivers and businesses that have dash camera or security footage,” they said in a release Sunday night.
Olson is the 14th homicide of 2022.
