Search for stolen car with 12-year-old in back seat ends without incident

Police say the search for a stolen vehicle with a young child in the back seat has ended without incident.
The vehicle, a grey Nissan Rogue, was reportedly stolen from the area of Wilson Avenue and Garrett Boulevard just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday night.
They say a 12-year-old boy was in the back seat at the time of the theft.
Moments later, police tweeted that the car and child had been located and that the boy was being reunited with his family.
The investigation into the theft is continuing.
THEFT OF VEHICLE:
Wilson Av + Garratt Blvd
– Officers have located the car and child
– He is uninjured
– He will be returned to his parents/guardians
– Our investigation will continue
