The road closures are expected to be in place for all or part of the day, Toronto police said in a release.

Drivers, along with TTC riders, can expect delays in the area. Transit vehicles will be on diversion.

The following full road closures will be in effect:

  • Queen Street East from Neville Park Boulevard to Woodbine Avenue
  • Woodbine Avenue to Lake Shore Boulevard
  • Lake Shore Boulevard from Woodbine Avenue to Coxwell Avenue

COVID vaccine clinics over Easter

For those planning on attending the parade and looking to get a COVID-19 vaccine, Toronto Public Health will be holding a vaccine clinic at the fire hall at 1904 Queen St. near Woodbine.

The clinic, which will be running on a walk-in basis on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 a.m., will be offering first, second, third, fourth and children’s doses to eligible residents aged five and up. A health card is not required.

There will also be pharmacies along the parade route offering the vaccine.

The clinic at the parade is one of several taking place in the city on Sunday. Clinics will also be held at community centres and select TTC subway stations.
