Early morning shooting in Rexdale leaves one man with serious injuries

Toronto police say one man has serious injuries after he was shot early Friday morning in Rexdale.
Officers say it happened around 2:30 a.m. in the area of Silvestone Drive and Mt. Olive drive.
Multiple gunshots were reportedly heard outside a home, but the man was hit inside the residence.
While the victim’s injuries are serious, police say they are not life threatening.
Police also say a dark-coloured car was seen driving away from the area.
