A fire at a storage trailer facility in Pickering on Squires Beach Road has been put out Tuesday afternoon, according to the City.
Emergency crews were called to the area, south of the 401 near Brock Road, around 2:45 p.m.

The City said there’s no immediate threat to residents or businesses close by. There are no reported injuries at this time.
Thick black smoke could be seen south of the 401 and Brock Road, which caused a visual distraction for drivers in the area.
