Victoria Day: What’s open/closed and everything else you need to know
The Victoria Day long weekend is upon us — the first one we can enjoy to the fullest since the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020.
Most attractions are open this time around, as well as fireworks to enjoy. Most mask mandates have been lifted but keep in mind that they remain in effect for public transit for those planning to take it around town.
On the holiday Monday, there will be the usual closures (scroll below for a list).

For those staying in or coming into Toronto, the City is offering various fun things over the long weekend including splash pads for the kids. Click here for the activities.
During Victoria Day, Monday, May 23, Toronto police say officers will not be enforcing on-street parking bylaws in pay-and-display/metered areas, rush-hour routes, and in areas with posted signs indicating Monday to Friday regulations. But all other areas and parking offences will be enforced.
Road closures will also be in effect in the city for ActiveTO and road work. Click here for details.
Have a safe and happy long weekend.
