Police searching for suspects after man shot multiple times in Cabbagetown

Police say they’re searching for suspects after a man was shot multiple times Thursday night in Cabbagetown.

Around 10:30 p.m. police say they received several reports from callers about multiple gunshots being heard in the area of Wellesley and Ontario streets, just east of Sherbourne Street.

Officers found the victim with gunshot wounds when they arrived to the scene. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officers could not confirm the number of suspects involved.
