Police searching for suspects that shot paintballs at pedestrians in Etobicoke

By Lucas Casaletto

Toronto police need the public’s help identifying a group of suspects who fired a paintball gun and struck pedestrians from their vehicle.

Investigators say that between June 3 and June 6, they received multiple reports of suspects shooting paintballs at people in the Lake Shore Boulevard West and Eighth Street area, near Prince of Wales Park.

No physical injuries were reported.

Witnesses say the suspects were firing paintballs at a crowd from two separate vehicles, described as white and black coloured SUVs.

The drivers then fled the area, travelling in an unknown direction.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses or motorists with dash cam footage to come forward.
