Garbage truck flipped over after colliding with streetcar in Midtown Toronto

Two people were sent to hospital with injuries after a garbage truck collided with a streetcar in Midtown Toronto on Tuesday morning.
The collision occurred on St. Clair Avenue just east of Yonge Street around 7:15 a.m. and resulted in the garbage truck tipping over onto its side and spilling its contents onto the street.

Paramedics told CityNews the two people in hospital have non-life-threatening injuries.
The eastbound lanes of St. Clair were closed between Deer Park Crescent and Yonge Street for several hours but the road has since reopened.
