2 women sought for stealing employee’s FedEx truck, packages in Toronto

Toronto police are searching for two women who allegedly stole a FedEx employee’s vehicle and escaped with several packages in the city’s downtown core.

Investigators say the incident happened on July 6, shortly after 5:30 p.m., when a FedEx employee parked their vehicle in the Bathurst Street and Adelaide area.

The employee returned to find that the vehicle had been stolen.

The truck was located a short time later, unoccupied in the Adelaide Street West and Portland Street area.

There was no damage to the vehicle, but police said several packages had been taken along with the truck’s keys.

No one was injured.

The first woman is described as five foot six to five foot seven with a heavy build and long dark hair. She was last seen wearing a tan tank top, blue jean shorts and black running shoes and carrying a black backpack.

The second woman is described as five foot seven with a thin build and short dark hair. She was last seen wearing a red top, black pants, black shoes and carrying a multi-coloured backpack.
