Two-year-old boy seriously injured in fall from balcony in Mississauga

A two-year-old boy is in serious condition after falling from a third-floor balcony at a residential building in Mississauga on Friday evening.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at 2111 Roche Court near Erin Mill Parkway and Fowler Drive at around 5:15 p.m.
The boy was rushed to hospital with what police said was potentially life-threatening injuries. They later updated the child’s condition to non-life threatening just before 10 p.m.
The investigation into what led up to the fall is ongoing.
