Man arrested in Yorkdale parking lot after allegedly shooting gun while driving on 401

A man is in custody following a brazen shooting incident on Highway 401 in Toronto on Saturday afternoon.
Police were called to Yorkdale mall around 2:15 p.m. after getting reports that a man driving a dark blue Acura on the 401 near Allen Road was shooting a gun in the air.
The car then drove into the mall parking lot a short time after the shots were fired.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and a firearm was recovered.
Yorkdale mall was briefly place into lockdown but regular activity has since resumed.
No injuries were reported.
