Driver injured after crash involving transport truck on Hwy. 401 in North York

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says one driver is in hospital with serious injuries after a collision involving a transport truck on Highway 401 in North York.
The crash happened on the westbound collectors’ portion of Hwy. 401 near Dufferin Street.
OPP says a transport truck and a sedan were involved in the collision. The driver of the sedan, a man in his 50s, was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The westbound portion of Hwy. 401 collectors were closed at Avenue Road for the investigation, but the roads have since reopened.
