Teen, 18, wanted after armed carjacking in Rexdale

An 18-year-old man from Toronto is wanted in connection to an armed carjacking carried out in Rexdale over two months ago.
Toronto police say the incident happened on Sunday, June 19, in the Islington Avenue and Albion Road area.
It’s alleged that two men approached a woman as she walked to her car. One of the men was armed and pointed a gun at her, demanding her keys.
She obliged, and the two men fled in her vehicle. Police say the two men drove a short distance before parking the car and fleeing the area on foot.
The woman did not suffer any physical injuries.
One of the suspects was identified as 18-year-old Hamzah Hussein of Toronto.
Hussein is wanted on multiple charges, including robbery with a firearm. He’s approximately 5-foot-5, Black, with a medium build and curly black hair. Police did not release a photo of the wanted 18-year-old man.
The second suspect, described as male, remains unidentified.
Police say both individuals should be considered armed and dangerous.
