E-bike operator killed in Downsview crash

A man has died following a crash between an e-bike and a van in Downsview.
Police say a white GMC van was travelling westbound on Wilson Avenue near Cornelius Parkway when the driver turned left into the path of a red e-bike that was going eastbound around 9 p.m. Saturday.
Paramedics transported a 44-year-old man to a nearby trauma centre, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the van remained on the scene.
No word if any charges will be laid.
