Motorcyclist, 68, dies in Oshawa t-bone collision

A 68-year-old man has died after his motorcycle was involved in a t-bone collision in Oshawa Monday.
Durham police were called to the scene of the collision at Simcoe Street near Niagara Drive just after 1:30 p.m.
Officers say the motorcyclist was riding northbound on Simcoe when it collided with a white vehicle which had entered the road from a private driveway.
The man from Oshawa suffered “extensive injuries” and was pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and remaind on the scene of the collision.
Durham’s Traffic Services Unit is currently investigating the crash.
