Police are searching for a man following reports that he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl at a Toronto convenience store.

It’s alleged that on August 29, around 6:30 p.m., a man was inside a convenience store in the Dixon Road and Islington Avenue area, north of Etobicoke, when he approached a 13-year-old girl.

He initiated a conversation with the teen, then allegedly grabbed her hand and sexually assaulted her.

Police said the 13-year-old informed employees of the store, who reported the incident to the authorities.

The man is described as around six feet with a thin build and in his 20s.

He was last seen wearing a maroon hooded sweatshirt, black shoes, and a black baseball hat, and he had pierced ears. He left in a four-door silver Toyota sedan.
