Three men were rushed to a hospital, one with serious injuries, after a multi-vehicle crash in Toronto’s west end.

Toronto police responded to a two-vehicle collision in the Jane Street and Eglinton Avenue West area on Wednesday night.

Officers said a traffic light had been struck by one of the vehicles. In an update, police confirmed three men were taken to a hospital, one with serious injuries. The condition of the other two men was not provided.

It’s unclear what caused the collision.

A winter weather travel advisory and special weather statement was in place in Toronto due to strong winds and blowing snow, which Environment Canada said could cause limited visibility for motorists.

Road closures are expected overnight as the investigation continues.
