Man seriously injured in west end stabbing

The search is on for at least one suspect after a man was stabbed in the city’s west end.
Police were called to a strip plaza in the area of Dufferin Street and Schell Avenue, north of Eglinton Avenue West just after 4 p.m. on Friday.
When they arrived they found a man suffering from stab wounds. He was transported to hospital in serious but non-life threatening condition.
Police say they are looking for a Black male, five-foot-10 with a slim build. He was last seen wearing all black clothing, construction boots and carrying a black backpack.
