Toronto police issue public safety alert warning of stolen medication

Toronto police have issued a public safety alert warning of medication that was stolen in North York earlier this week.

Police say thirty percocet and twenty valium pills were stolen in the area of Jane Street and Wilson Avenue sometime between Dec. 22 and Dec. 24.

Officers warn the pills could be harmful, or even fatal, if swallowed, especially if they are ingested by children.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
