Peel police find firearm in vehicle after traffic stop in Torbram Road and Derry Road East area

Peel police have charged a 27-year-old man with firearm related offences after a traffic stop around 1:15 a.m. on Jan. 21, 2023.
The vehicle stopped was in the area of Torbram Road and Derry Road East in Mississauga, where officers seized a Bersa Thunder 380 firearm.
Osman Sillah was charged with eight offences including unauthorized possession of a firearm, but also was charged with failure to comply with release order, due to a release order for similar firearm offences.
