Canadian Beatbox Championships returns after 3 year hiatus

The Canadian Beatbox Championships returned earlier this month after being on hiatus since 2019.
On March 11th Beatboxers from across the country took part in a battle of sounds at the Rec Room in Toronto. This year’s categories were Solo, Tag Team and Loopstations beatboxing.
“I think that was the best part. To have the whole community back together again,” says Vancouver’s Vino Cuenca, one of this year’s champions.
Cuenca, who defended his 2019 title, will represent Canada on the world stage at the Beatbox Battle World Championship in Berlin, Germany this summer.
Scott Jackson, a former winner of this competition and host of this year’s show, showed Stella Acquisto a few beatboxing tricks.
