Suspect wanted after man punched, robbed in unprovoked attack on TTC bus

Toronto police are searching for a male suspect in an alleged, unprovoked attack on a TTC bus in Rexdale.
Investigators were called to a robbery in the Martin Grove Road and Porterfield Road area around 9 p.m. on April 12.
It’s alleged that a man was on board a southbound Martin Grove TTC bus when the suspect approached and randomly struck him in the face several times.
Toronto police said a struggle ensued, and the victim’s bag fell to the floor of the bus. The suspect then took the man’s bag, resulting in the driver stopping the bus.
The suspect quickly fled from the bus and was last seen on foot going south on Martin Grove Road.
The male suspect is described as in his 40s and approximately 5-foot-10 with black hair and a black and grey beard.
He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, black shorts, and shoes.
