12-year-old among suspects arrested in Vaughan sports card robbery
A 12-year-old is among three suspects who have been arrested and charged in connection with stolen trading cards in York Region.
York Regional Police (YRP) officers responded to reports of a robbery at a business on Langstaff Road in Vaughan on June 29.
Police allege suspects entered the business and ordered the employees into a backroom before proceeding to fill garbage bags with sports trading cards. The victims told police they believed the suspects were armed with a gun.

An investigation discovered one of the suspects was trying to sell stolen trading cards throughout the GTA. Police say he was arrested in Burlington on July 20.
During the arrest, officers seized a loaded firearm and a “substantial” amount of stolen items. Stolen sports cards were recovered when officers executed a search warrant at a property in Toronto.
Two other outstanding suspects turned themselves at a Vaughan police station on July 26.
In a release sent out on Thursday, YRP say 25-year-old Ojo Oluwaseum of Toronto is facing several charges, including robbery and illegal possession of a firearm. He was allegedly on parole at the time of his arrest and wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
