Man charged with attempted murder in connection to Brampton shooting

A man has been arrested in connected to a daylight shooting in Brampton that left a man with serious injuries.
Police were called to McLaughlin Road and Bovaird Drive just after 3 p.m. on Sept. 13 to reports of an argument in the area.
It’s alleged the suspect and the victim, who are believed to be unknown to each other, became involved in a verbal argument which led to the suspect shooting the victim several times.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect has been identified as Damian Solomon, 23, of Brampton.
Solomon turned himself in to police on Friday and is currently facing several charges including attempted murder with a firearm.
He’s been held pending a bail hearing.
