1 woman dead, 1 woman critically injured in multi-vehicle crash in Mississauga

A 55-year-old woman is dead and another is in critical condition after two SUVs collided in Mississauga.
Police say one of the vehicles was travelling northbound on Argentia Road and the other vehicle was going eastbound on Derry Road when the collision occurred at the intersection just before 9 a.m. Saturday.
Paramedics transported one woman to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries where she was later pronounced dead. A second woman was taken to a Toronto trauma centre in critical condition. Both women were in the same vehicle, according to police.
A third person was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital.
Police say no charges have been laid at this point and that the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
