Male killed in Etobicoke stabbing, suspect arrested

A male has been killed after a stabbing in Etobicoke Thursday afternoon.

Police were called to a residence at Princess Anne Crescent and Bournemouth Road near Eglinton Avenue West, just east of Kipling Avenue, just after 2 p.m. for reports of a stabbing inside a home.

One male was pronounced dead on the scene while another male was taken into custody.

The homicide unit is now investigating the incident, and police say there is no threat to public safety.
