A woman has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in the Yonge and Dundas Streets area.

Police were called to the intersection just after 9 p.m. for reports of a stabbing.

A female victim in her 20s was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say a suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.
