Man wanted for contravening custody order, failing to return to Canada after trip to India
A man is wanted for allegedly travelling with his son to India and failing to return to Canada.
Toronto police say Kapil Sunak, 48, of Toronto took his three-year-old son Valentino to Delhi, India, in July of 2024. They had a court-ordered return date of Aug. 8, 2024.
Sunak has allegedly failed to return to Canada and has kept custody of the child in contravention of a court order.

He is wanted for abduction by a parent/custody order.
Sunak is described as six feet three inches tall, with a heavy build, short brown hair and facial hair. His son is described as four feet tall, 45 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Their photos have been released.
