2 in hospital after early morning Mount Dennis apartment fire

Two people have been taken to a hospital after a fire at an apartment in the Mount Dennis neighbourhood.

Police say the two-alarm fire occurred at a residential building in the Eglinton Avenue West and Black Creek Drive area just after 5:30 a.m.

Two people were transported to hospital with minor injuries according to paramedics.

Toronto police say they are investigating the cause of the fire.
