Man killed in industrial accident in Vaughan

A man in his 40s has died after being trapped under a forklift in a workplace accident in Vaughan.

A man is dead following an industrial accident in Vaughan.

Paramedics were called to Plastic and Paper Sales Inc. located at 510 Applewood Crescent near Highway 7 and Jane Street just after 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

Toronto police say the worker, a man in his 40s, was trapped under a forklift.

Paramedics say the man was pronounced dead at the scene but provided no further details.

The Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development says they were notified of the incident.
