Man seriously injured after crashing on scooter in Brampton

A man has been seriously injured after crashing while on a scooter in Brampton.

Peel police were called to Vodden Street East and Garfield Crescent for a single vehicle collision involving a scooter around 9:45 a.m. Thursday.

Investigators say the man struck a concrete barrier on the road, causing the crash.

A man in his 60s was taken to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.

Vodden was closed between Garfield Crescent and Cumberland Drive but has since reopened.
