E-scooter rider seriously injured in Brampton crash

A male e-scooter rider has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash in Brampton.

Police were called to Queen Street West and Mercer Drive just before 9:30 p.m. for reports of a crash.

Officers say both drivers remained on the scene.

The e-scooter rider was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to paramedics.

The cause of the crash remains unknown.
