Attempted murder charge laid in Monday night shooting

A 24-year-old Toronto man has been arrested following a shooting in the Dundas Street East and Greenwood Avenue area.
According to Toronto police, Tajuddin Shahabuddin has been charged with attempted murder stemming from a shooting late Monday night.
Police say that at approximately 11:30 p.m., a dispute between two men escalated in a residence, and a 48-year-old man was shot. The man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Among the charges Shahabuddin faces are conspiracy to commit murder, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a prohibited firearm.
Police are also looking for a 30-year-old man involved in the shooting. He is described as being 6-foot-3 with an olive complexion, and is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information in this investigation is asked to contact police at 416-808-550 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS.
