1 stabbed during brawl outside North York high school

One person has been taken to hospital after being stabbed during a brawl outside a North York high school.

Police say it happened just after 3 p.m. Thursday near Étienne-Brûlé secondary school on Banbury Road near York Mills Road and Leslie Street.

Police say up to 15 people were involved in the melee when someone pulled out a knife.

Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Police are investigating.
