Charges have been withdrawn against the police officer who Tased Sammy Yatim as he lay dying on the floor of a TTC streetcar in 2013.
A resolution was met through mediation and it was determined that Sgt. Dusan Dan Pravica acted in good faith that evening and followed with Toronto police training.
Pravica was facing one charge of misconduct for tasering the 18-year-od.
Yatim was shot nine times by Const. James Forcillo during an altercation with police.
In 2016, a jury acquitted Forcillo of the second-degree murder of Yatim, who was holding a small knife, but convicted the officer of attempted murder. The conviction related to a second volley of bullets Forcillo fired after Yatim was down and dying.
