Toronto police are trying to find a woman who is accused of “evading police” after she was granted bail on a second-degree murder charge.
Fantasia Hoo-Hing, of Toronto, was one of three people arrested and charged in the murder of Edwin McGowan, 52, of Toronto.
McGowan was discovered deceased in an apartment on Antrim Crescent on September 22, 2019, just after 11 p.m.
On Wednesday, Oct. 2, Hoo-Hing was one of three people charged with second-degree murder in the case.
Almost a year later, on Sept. 30, 2020, Hoo-Hing was granted bail with several conditions.
“Officers were made aware that she was allegedly breaching her terms of release … and [she] is believed to be at large and evading police,” police said in a release Friday.
An arrest warrant has been issued and police are asking the public for help tracking her down.
