Debris Causes Two Accidents
Debris was responsible for two separate accidents on the streets overnight, including a motorcycle crash on the Gardiner Expressway near Park Lawn Rd.
The biker’s accident occurred after he ran over some building materials that had fallen out of a passing truck at about 10:20pm Tuesday.
His injuries weren’t considered serious and fortunately he didn’t need to be hospitalized.
Only half an hour beforehand, a 64-year-old woman suffered head injuries after she ran over a concrete curb barrier that had been left in the roadway on Steeles Ave. near Yonge St.
Police investigators believe someone may have dragged it into the street.
The impact of the crash triggered the car’s airbags, smashing the windshield.
The woman was hurt, but not seriously.
Police Search For Naked Man
A naked man was spotted at about 11pm Tuesday night near Highway 407, and now Peel police are out looking for him.
A passerby saw him on the highway, near the Credit River. The investigators’ search was made more difficult overnight by the dark, foggy conditions.
