Stabbed Man Calls 911 From Convenience Store

A strange call for help Saturday, as a man dialed for a taxi before punching in 911.

After he was brutally stabbed, the victim hailed a cab to take him to a convenience store located at 980 Islington Ave (north of The Queensway).

When he arrived at the all-night establishment around 1pm, he immediately contacted emergency crews.

When they got there, they noticed the severe stab wounds and quickly took him to hospital. He’s expected to recover from the serious – but not life-threatening – wounds.

Cops say they don’t know where the scene of the crime is as yet.
