Jays Cruise Past Indians With 8-1 Win

Jose Bautista belted his third-career grand slam as the Toronto Blue Jays cruised by the Cleveland Indians 8-1.
It was Bautista’s league-leading 31st homer of the season. His four RBI’s give him a total of 79 so far.
Fred Lewis also homered while Edwin Encarnacion and Yunel Escobar added RBI singles.
Escobar also scored on a wild pitch to complete the beating.
Jays starter Shaun Marcum allowed just one run on three hits while striking out 10 Indians over seven innings.
It’s Toronto’s fourth straight win at home after sweeping Baltimore.
