Man in 60’s dead after industrial accident in Richmond Hill

Police in York Region say a worker is dead after an industrial accident in Richmond Hill.
The worker, a man in his 60’s, was doing work on the roof of Leon’s Furniture on Yonge Street just north of Elgin Mills Road on Wednesday morning.
“When our officers got there, the man was vital signs absent,” sergeant Andy Pattenden said.
“He was transported to hospital where sadly, he was pronounced deceased.”
Pattenden says the investigation is ongoing and the Ministry of Labour is attending the scene.
No other injuries have been reported.
