TORONTO, Ont. – In addition to the city’s public budget consultations, Torontonians have the opportunity to attend public meetings in regards to proposed cuts to TTC bus routes.
TTC commissioners decided to delay the decision to cut the 48 routes affected by low ridership, opting to hear from the public before reconviening on February 2.
City staff proposed the decision last Monday, as it would save a total of $7 million and increase service on busier bus routes.
The meetings will reveal which routes will be cut, why they will be cut, and how to find alternative routes
