One injured after shooting on Birchmount Ave.

TORONTO, Ont. – One man has been rushed to hospital after a shooting in the city’s northeast.

EMS told CityNews the 22-year-old male victim was shot once in the back.

Police say the victim suffered life-threatening injuries.

The shooting happened at 2237 Birchmount Avenue.

No word on suspects.
