Driver suffers life-threatening injuries after car strikes hydro pole in Mississauga

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – A driver has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a car went off the road and struck a hydro pole on Mississauga Road, north of Steeles Avenue, Monday.

Peel police told 680News it happened at around 2 a.m.

The 22-year-old was the only person in the car and was transported to a trauma unit in Toronto.
