TORONTO, Ont. – It’s the 30th anniversary of the start of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope, Tuesday, and the foundation named in his honour wants people to remember back to the spring and summer of 1980.
The Toronto Star reported the Terry Fox Foundation is asking Canadians to share their memories of Fox: Did they see him run? Did they hear him speak or meet him?
The foundation has raised $500-million for cancer research in 30 years.
