Police search for woman believed to be in danger, last seen with male driver in Oshawa

Durham Regional Police are searching for a woman investigators believe is in danger after she was seen screaming and trying to escape a moving vehicle in Oshawa.

Officers were called to the Bridle Road and Windfield Farms area just after 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, after two witnesses claimed to observe a woman screaming for help.

Allegedly, they witnessed a woman trying to jump out of a moving vehicle, and she appeared to be in distress.

A male driver was seen preventing the female from leaving the vehicle and drove off north on Bridle Road.

Police described the male driver as white, with dark hair and a beard. The woman is described as white, with blonde hair, approximately 20 years old, and last seen wearing blue jeans and winter boots.

The suspect vehicle is a white Ford SUV. Police have not determined the vehicle’s licence plate.
