Toronto police have released new images of a man accused of following a woman off a TTC bus and sexually assaulting her.
Police say it happened on Saturday, Feb. 11, at around 4:15 a.m. in the Bathurst and Wells streets area.
According to investigators, a 29-year-old woman, and the suspect, were on the same TTC bus that was travelling from Bathurst to King Street West.
They both exited at the same stop and police say the suspect began following the woman on foot.
He allegedly caught up to her and sexually assaulted her, then tried to leave with her phone.
Police say the victim, seeking her phone back, started following him and she was sexually assaulted a second time.
The suspect is described as around five feet 10 inches tall, bald with thick dark eyebrows. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black toque, black jacket and khaki-coloured pants.
Police originally released photos of the suspect on the bus, but his face was covered by a surgical mask.
On Tuesday, police released additional photos of the suspect that clearly show his face.
