Six boys and a man face attempted murder charges in connection with the stabbing of a teen at a Brampton high school.

Police responded to the parking lot of Sandalwood Heights Secondary School, in the area of Sandalwood Parkway and Torbram Road, just before 11:30 a.m. Monday for reports of a fight.

A 17-year-old victim was located at the scene with stab wounds. He was transported to hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition.

Police allege the suspects fled the area in vehicles. The high school was briefly placed in a hold and secure as officers investigated.
