Man seriously injured in Etobicoke stabbing

A man in his 20s has been rushed to a local trauma centre after a stabbing in Etobicoke, paramedics say.

Emergency crews were called to the Rathburn Road and Renforth Drive area just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police say two groups of males got into an altercation, during which time the suspect was stabbed in the back.

Paramedics say the victim suffered multiple stab wounds. His injuries are considered non-life threatening.

Four males were taken into police custody.
